Hello Beautiful People!

Will you be local to Albany, CA this Wednesday, March 12th? If so, how about celebrating the funk-loving side of life with me?

Guiding our musically magical journey at the Beast Bay’s beloved Ivy Room will be Ben Bloom (guitar), Grant Schroff (drums) and Jason Gray (bass) from Polyrhythmics with Billy D Thompson (drums) from The Gold Souls and Brian Swislow aka B Swizlo (keys) from Object Heavy.

If you know you know but if you don’t, trust me…this is a hot combo. Plus double-drums?! Come on now.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $20 (cash only) at the door. Doors open at 7:30pm and downbeat is 8pm.

March 12th’s session is part of a series curated for lovers of instrumental Funk influenced by Afrobeat, Jazz, R&B and more. Showcased each time will be local and touring musicians collaborating in unique combinations that highlight the musicality and virtuosity of each performer.
