Thanks very much for taking time to swing by!
I’m Winter Williams, a community builder who curates joyful gatherings that promote quality vibes and unique live music experiences. I’m also a freelancing production MacGyver of sorts and financial feminist advocating however and whenever I can for a healthier and more just economy.
Do please check out my upcoming events and sign up (if you haven’t already) for the occasional Quality Vibes Blast updates I email out from time to time. We have some worthy (in my humble opinion) projects underway and would love to keep you in the loop.
Want to pitch in or collaborate? Have questions, feedback or ideas to share? Looking for someone to strategize with on how to boycott bullies and upset unhealthy paradigms? Please email me!
Don’t see anything here that floats your boat so-to-speak? All good. But do please keep an eye out for other joy-based activities that might inspire you. These are trying times and it matters greatly how how we focus our precious resources.
Thanks again, take care and mind the gap!
Winter :)

Financial Feminism
Be it how we each acquire, invest, spend or share money, our choices directly impact economic ecosystems and power paradigms with local, regional and global implications. In simpler terms, ever $1 that passes through our care is a vote for or against the world we want to be part of. Waking up to this reality and taking responsibility for figuring out how to financially function in a manner that aligns with our personal values is a journey unique to each of us, including those of us who chose to deny accountability.
Some thought-provoking questions to as ourselves include:
What financial resources and knowledge do we truly need to live happy and healthy lives?
How are those resources and skills being made available, and to whom? Is anyone being hurt in the process, if so how and why?
Can I meet my needs without perpetuating exploitative and oppressive practices, if so how?
Who else is thinking / acting around this topic and is there a way to support and learn from one another?
Our priority projects include:
promoting financial feminism and sharing resources
boycotting businesses (such as Amazon, Home Depot, Spotify and Target) that support the active suppression of social justice and economic equity
hosting learning circle gatherings (online and in person) that focus on timely topics impacting community health
advising on how to strategically incorporate key elements of financial feminism into our individual and professional practices
moderating the Financial Feminists MeetUp group
